to Microsoft 365

Technical University of Leoben is consolidating the separate M365 environments – unified services, improved security, and simpler collaboration between staff and students.

Please send important emails to students by 13.05.2026 so they can be read in time.

Information regarding the migration of staff will be provided shortly.

What changes for you – actions at a glance
Teams meetings with students
Reschedule
Teams meeting URLs cannot be carried over from the old system. After the migration, please reschedule all recurring and future meetings with students and resend the invitations. Especially important for recurring series.
Sharing & permissions for students
Set once again
With the switch, all students will receive new user accounts. Shares for students must therefore be reset once. Please recreate any sharing links you generated and resend them.
OneDrive & SharePoint links
Check & recreate
Students’ links will change from studunileobenacat-my.sharepoint.com to unileobenacat-my.sharepoint.com. As a result, links in emails, chats, and documents may become invalid. Please spot-check embedded links and recreate them if needed.
External access & guest accounts
Action may be required
If students have guest access to external organizations or were set up as guests in your environment, login issues may occur. In such cases, the redemption status must be reset and access re-established.
