General information
The ICT offers the departments and institutes at MU Leoben the opportunity to use software free of charge under existing campus contracts or to order software at academic rates through the ICT in accordance with the software offerings.
- As a general rule: A valid license must be available for every piece of installed software!
- For institutes that are not directly supported by the ICT, a sublicense agreement is required!

We ask that you call ahead to schedule an appointment so we can streamline our workflow.
The software manufacturers' license terms stipulate that a license must be available for every installation of the software.
When using software, the manufacturer’s license terms must be observed. Please note that violation of the license terms may result in criminal penalties!
