Setting up Uniflow printers / Windows
- Open the Windows Search function using the Windows key and type
\\uniflow.

- Check that the installation was successful by going to the Start menu and looking for the entry “SecureprintPCL6 on uniflow” under “Devices and Printers”.
- To print a document, select the uniflow printer and the print job will be sent.
- On a Mac device, the account name of the local user with administrator rights must match your own p-number or student ID number, for example
p12xxxxxorm11xxxxx. - To change the account name, go to System Preferences and select ‘Users & Groups’.
- Press and hold the Control key and click on the current user.
- Under ‘Advanced Options...’, you can now edit the user.
- Change your
P-numberorregistration numberand restart the device. This setting does not change the display name! - Next, you need to download and install the driver. You can find it at the following link:

- Once the installation of the driver is complete, open the System Preferences and select ‘Printers and Scanners’.
- A new window will appear, where you should click the + icon.
