CAMPUSonline - a flexible information and resource management software system
The information and resource management software system CAMPUSonline (MUonline) was developed in 1997 at the technical university in Graz to map business processes of science and research. The system has been developed in cooperation with all institutes of the university and was an attempt to provide a comfortable, clearly arranged surface according to the point of view of all users. Currently, the system is available in many different universities in Austria.
On the other hand, the research documentation is a basis for the knowledge balance. The knowledge balance focuses the strategic aspect of knowledge in enterprises. This and many other aspects conduce to the implementation of the Bologna guidelines (e.g. displaying ECTS-Credits, ECTS-Management, tools for course and study evaluation). In conclusion there is a transparency of the system, which should support an exchange between subjects and universities. Moreover, the system offers a continuing database for projects and contacts.
