Would your department like to run a website using the latest version of Typo3 at MU Leoben?
Do you need Typo3 coaching?
Do you have questions about the MU Web?

Please contact
webmaster(at)unileoben.ac.at

1.) Who is responsible for this?

Jessica Cabrera Pena and Sofia Kolbitsch (both contactable at webmaster(at)unileoben.ac.at) from the CMS team are responsible for creating the website and providing advice on all matters relating to it.
The server on which the website is hosted is located at the university and is managed by our server team.

2.) Costs

There are no additional costs for the website or the server.

3.) General information

The ongoing maintenance and updating of content are to be carried out by the appointed editors from the relevant laboratory or department. We can provide training for these individuals. We offer Typo3 coaching or support with any issues these editors may encounter at any time.

We are here to assist you with advice and practical support in setting up and creating the website, and we will take care of building the basic framework. To do this, we require a simple Word document listing the desired menu items and content. If images are to be included, please provide these as well. We ask that you prepare the Word document as far as possible so that we can enter the content in one go.

Upon submission of a ticket, any member of staff can be granted access, even if only to individual pages of the website. Departures from the editorial team must also be reported via a ticket so that we can deactivate the person in question.

The site will be created in the MUL design and will follow the specified design elements.

It is possible to create registration forms for events and make these available as CSV files.

However, we are unable to provide a payment system.

4.) What do we need to know before we can get started?

4.0.) Ticket: Please create a ticket via the following link: ict.unileoben.ac.at/allgemeines/ticket-erstellen. Then include the following details in the request:

4.1.) URL: The desired URL for the page. It must follow the format “unileoben.ac.at/desiredName”.

4.2.) Desired language: German only, English only, or bilingual (English and German).

4.3.) Editors: Please list the names of the editors who will be responsible for maintaining the page (we recommend two people).

4.4.) Deadline: Is there a deadline by which the page must be completed?

4.5.) Please consider which menu items the page should have. Please compile the menu items and their content in a Word document. If the page is to contain images, please also make these available to us via Unileoben’s OwnCloud. If the page is to be in German and English, please also provide us with the English texts and menu items.

We would be happy to briefly discuss the details in a meeting.
