High Performance Computing (HPC)

General

The university cluster has been operational since April 2024 and is available free of charge to all university staff.
With 46 compute nodes, 3,872 cores and 21.5 TB of RAM, it offers high-performance resources for demanding research projects at no extra cost.
It is funded from the general budget and forms a central part of our digital research infrastructure.

To be granted access to the cluster, please create a ticket on our website at ict.unileoben.ac.at/allgemeine/ticket-erstellen.

This requires an informal confirmation from a professor.
