Transfer contacts from Studmail (Horde) to Outlook

  • To transfer contacts from Studmail to Outlook, you must first export them from Studmail. To do this, log in to https://studmail.unileoben.ac.at using a web browser.

  • Navigate to “Address Book”.

  • In the Address Book, select the “Browse” section and the “(All)” sorting option, then check the first box labeled “Name” to select all contacts. Finally, click “Export”.

  • The email address used is “[MUonline username]@unileoben.ac.at”. (For example: “m01234567@unileoben.ac.at”)

  • On this page, log in using your MUonline username (student ID) and the corresponding password. If you are the only one with access to the current device, you can optionally check the “Trust this device” box. This option saves your login credentials for an extended period, so you don’t have to enter your password and two-factor authentication every time.

  • Select the “Contacts” tab and click “Import contacts” under “Your contacts”.

  • Click on “Browse”.

  • Select and open the previously exported “contacts.csv” file.

  • Click “Import” to confirm.

  • Check the preview, and if it looks good, confirm by clicking “Looks OK, continue”.

  • The number of imported contacts will now be shown. Click “Close” to confirm. Then refresh Outlook again, all contacts will now be listed.
